Since the year 2000, the course has been home to the much-loved two-man team tournament and men’s individual championship. These events are more than just golf tournaments; they are integral to the fabric of our community, bringing together generations of golfers.

Unfortunately, due to recent changes in management, these beloved tournaments are now threatened with cancellation. The decision to eliminate these iconic events undermines the rich history and tradition that South Park Golf Course represents. The tournaments provide a platform for local athletes and golf lovers to showcase their skills and nurture their passions while promoting a sense of unity and sportsmanship among participants and fellow golfers.

The loss of these tournaments could significantly diminish the cultural and historical significance of South Park Golf Course.
