I received an email this afternoon to say that the Sydney South Planning Panel meeting for Penshurst Park on 28-02-2018 has been cancelled ! http://www.planningpanels.nsw.gov.au/DevelopmentandPlanningRegister/tabid/62/ctl/view/mid/424/JRPP_ID/3551/language/en-AU/Default.aspx No explanation has been given as to why. Please see the forwarded email below. The Planning Panels meeting is still going to happen at some stage, but this buys us some more time to gather signatures on our petition, and ask people who may wish to speak at the meeting when it is re-announced. Even though the initial notices for Planning Panels meetings may be published on their website several weeks before any given meeting, the PP’s procedures only require that they send out meeting notifications merely 7 days before the meeting. So I intend to now keep a closer eye on the Planning Panels’ website so that I can catch the initial notice as soon as it’s published there, rather than waiting for the slow email notification. I’ll keep you posted about whether I hear anything more about this in the coming weeks.
