The council did not place notification signs on the properties of either Penshurst Park or the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre, to let users of these properties know about DA2017/0354, so we requested an extension of the submission deadline this morning. I received an email this afternoon from Georges River Council; "Council will accept late submissions for this application up to 29th September 2017." I have asked them to place signs at the Park and HALC. Everybody, please take this excellent opportunity to take time to read the DA documents and respond before the new due date.
