The Issue

"Centuries of law, heritage, and spiritual protections are under threat. Help Tynwald safeguard the Isle of Man and UK citizens from invasive Digital ID systems."

We, the people of the Isle of Man and the UK, call upon Tynwald Hill, the oldest seat of wisdom and governance in UK history, to protect our rights, traditions, and freedoms. Tynwald Hill is ancient and sacred—a place where law, justice, and protection of the people have been honoured for centuries. Its guidance is needed now more than ever.

We are reaching out directly to Tynwald Hill, rather than solely through the UK government, because Tynwald is the oldest continuous parliament in the world, sitting on ancient and sacred grounds that have historically upheld law, justice, and the protection of its people. While modern UK institutions govern broadly, Tynwald has direct authority and moral responsibility to safeguard the rights, traditions, and freedoms of those born or settled on its lands. Its guidance is essential to ensure that historic laws, spiritual protections, and ancestral rights are preserved, particularly in the face of Digital ID systems that treat both the Isle of Man and UK citizens alike.

Our liberties are rooted in Common Law, the Magna Carta, ancient signature customs, and the spiritual guardianship of the Church of England & the Crown, enriched by the island’s Pagan heritage and Catholic history. These foundations ensure generations of Manx and UK people can live freely, with their rights, laws, and heritage preserved.

We are deeply concerned that modern Digital ID systems, centralised databases, and expanded data-tracking—the same systems applied in the United Kingdom—threaten privacy, data protection, and human rights. Such systems risk undermining natural-born sovereignty, spiritual freedoms, and the protections established by the Crown for the native people of these lands.

We ask Tynwald to:

1.     Affirm Common Law protections and defend natural justice and personal liberty.

2.     Recognise Magna Carta’s historic significance as a safeguard of individual rights.

3.     Preserve ancestral rights, sacred grounds, and ancient traditions, including Pagan, Catholic, and Christian heritage.

4.     Exercise Tynwald Hill’s ancient duty and wisdom to protect its people and ensure laws and freedoms are never erased.

5.     Respect spiritual protections upheld by the Church of England, acknowledging older pagan and Catholic traditions.

6.     Reinforce the Crown’s laws protecting native people, their rights, and sovereignty.

7.     Examine Digital ID implications, including risks to privacy, data protection, and personal autonomy.

8.     Engage communities concerned about spiritual and moral impacts of technological identification.

9.     Encourage cooperation with the United Kingdom to ensure digital systems do not undermine rights, heritage, or dignity, recognising that these systems treat both Isle of Man and UK citizens alike.

Tynwald Hill has a sacred duty to protect its people. We respectfully request that Tynwald safeguard our heritage, faith traditions, ancestral rights, Crown protections, and natural human rights, ensuring that our laws, freedoms, and culture endure for future generations.

Sign this petition to stand with the people of these lands being dehumanised by Digital ID—whether born, legally settled, or contributing citizens of the United Kingdom and Isle of Man—and protect our sacred traditions, rights, and freedoms from modern threats.
