THE COMMUNITY IS SPEAKING — AND THE NUMBERS KEEP GROWING
We have now surpassed 3,900 signatures and are rapidly approaching 4,000 residents and supporters calling for transparency, accountability, and a pause before this project moves any further down the road.
This is no longer a small conversation.
The people of Mandarin are engaged.
They are informed.
And they want to be heard before irreversible decisions are made to one of Jacksonville’s most historic and environmentally sensitive corridors.
Residents are coming together because they believe too many questions remain unanswered:
• Impacts to the historic canopy
• Wetlands and environmental concerns
• Right of way impacts
• Limited meaningful public meetings
• Advancing toward 60 percent design while community concern continues to grow
People are tired of feeling like decisions are being pushed forward while public input struggles to keep pace.
This petition is growing because residents believe Mandarin deserves better than carefully managed messaging and limited engagement after the fact.
The community is asking for something very simple:
Pause.
Listen.
Reevaluate.
And give the public a real voice before more money is spent and the project advances further.
Mandarin is paying attention.
And Mandarin is speaking louder every single day.
