

We wanted to share a quick update with everyone following the Mandarin Road sidewalk issue.
After reaching out to the Chairman of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority Board, we did receive a response, and our concerns were forwarded to the JTA CEO.
We have since submitted a follow-up to ensure our questions are also being considered at the Board level.
In that follow-up, we asked for clarity on:
• The reported funding gap
• The environmental review process
• The level of community opposition
• What oversight is in place as the project moves toward 60% design
We also asked the Board to consider pausing any current or pending RFP (procurement) activity while these questions are addressed.
With over 3,300+ residents and growing, this continues to reflect strong community interest.
