Petition updatePremier protect the native forests of Tasmania.Krush on Krushka's
Blue Derby Wild
Jul 21, 2021

In the past week we’ve had reliable information from contacts in the forestry and tourism world that Sustainable Timbers Tasmania (STT) are wanting to commence logging in the two Krushka’s forests (CC109A and CC119A) in the coming months. Potentially as early as August while we're in the tourism off season.

We are declaring a Krush on Krushka’s to make sure wherever we are across Tasmania, Australia and globally we can all push back on plans to log these beautiful Gondwanic remnant forests.

We need your help to keep building momentum to protect the native forests of northeast Tasmania from the increasing threat of logging across the area, and most urgently in Krushka’s and the Mutual Valley that envelope the Blue Derby Mountain bike trails.

We have a few easy ways you can be part of the campaign whether you're in Tasmania, or other parts of the world. To find out how you can be part of the movement to protect the forests of north east Tasmania go to bluederbywild.org and follow us on Instagram @BlueDerbyWild
