The Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing has acknowledged they have received my "concerns" in regards to housing. This isn't a "concern". It's a reality many Ontarians are facing in the private rental sector. It's a matter of having a home or being homeless. We all have the right to be independent. The Government is now making the choice for us by not regulating rent. They cry that our systems are being over utilized but yet they are forcing us into those systems causing lose of independence, mental health stresses and health issues. Premier Ford, people who rent contribute just as much to society as homeowners do. We are being taken advantage of and it needs to stop NOW!
