Did you know that trans and nonbinary youth who reported having their pronouns respected by all or most of the people in the lives attempted suicide at half the rate of those who did not have their pronouns respected (The Trevor Project, 2020)?

This is why Schoology (owned by PowerSchool) should have a function that allows students and teachers to input their personal pronouns and display them if desired. This would create a safe space for all users and especially improve the welfare of trans and non-binary users. Many of Schoology's competitors, such as Canvas, already have this function.
