The building located in Deakin Avenue, Mildura known as the Number 1 Sub Building is set to be demolished, as a part of the MRCC Deakin Avenue redevelopment. It was built in 1936 and is the original sub station housing power infrastructure. It has structural issues, however could be repaired and used as a number of community spaces.... ie. Tourist information centre, coffee shop and so on. 
Affectionately called Old’36, this cool Art Deco building needs to remain where it stands today. Hopefully our friends at Powercor and the MRCC can help.
