The Issue

Poulsbo City just rolled out crazy expensive parking in the public lot, with no community consultation, and they are requiring people to pay by app, which is frankly classist, ableist and agist. So many elders don't have smart phones, many people don't have vast amounts of data, and even more can't afford to park.

Tourists, employees, business regulars will all stop coming to Poulsbo, and all this during an affordability crisis. It's gross that the city has decided to do this and past costs onto us. The waterfront is public, and is a key meeting place, is the heart of town.

Support seniors, and support working class business owners that want to see their regulars, and take down the app parking. It's terrible.
