Post Office must honour 1st and 2nd class stamps until customer stocks are exhausted

Post Office must honour 1st and 2nd class stamps until customer stocks are exhausted
The Issue
Without any nationwide consultation with its stakeholders and the general public, the scandal hit UK Post Office has declared that existing '1st' or '2nd' class stamps, (or any other priced stamps, with the Queen's head on them or are Christmas-themed) will not be valid for postage after 31 January 2023. Post Office users have bought these stamps in good faith, being led to believe they are valid indefinitely until used. The Post Office has benefited from the money already paid, and should be made to honour all such stamps until all existing stocks in circulation are naturally exhausted over the passage of time. Perhaps the Post Office is looking to recoup its compensation costs arising from its flawed Horizon IT systems. For more on this, go to https://www.postofficehorizoninquiry.org.uk
