Kendra James was assassinated on the Skidmore Overpass by Portland Police on Cinco de Mayo, 2003.

Stephen Skidmore has his fountain. I call on those who make North Portland their home to honor Ms James' life and to never allow her untimely and unnecessary death to slip from their memory.

I urge every white person living in Albina to sign this petition. I urge every white business owner from Fremont to Lombard, MLK to Interstate to demand this change.
