The Docklands Community, and it is a community are devastated that one of our favourite places, Off With The Ferries Café has been forced to close with very little notice! They only have until 5pm today (17/9/2021)!

For the many people that wander past on their 'iso walks', our gorgeous little café on Harbour Esplanade, Docklands has been a port in the lockdown storm for Docklands residents (and there are approximately 12,000 of us!) for the past 18 months.

The gorgeous couple that look after us, Heather and Brian Khouri, are always there to greet us with a smile, a chat and yummy food and drinks. They are one of the few cafe's in our area that have remained open and a beacon of light in these dark times.

And this closure is completely unnecessary and mercenary! There is an option for them to remain open until the new café is actually built and operational. But instead, they have been forced out, another business lost during this awful pandemic and another loss to the Docklands Community.

Please, save our Off With the Ferries Café. Please give them a reprieve from the deadline today and let them continue to earn an income and help and support the people of Docklands (all 12 thousand of us) until the new café is built. And maybe then, let them run their café in your new building?
