Sony has announced that God of War Ragnarök is to be released November 9, 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Recently, they have been porting previously PlayStation exclusive games to PC, such as God of War (2018) and Horizon Zero Dawn. God of War (2018) was released to PC on January 14, 2022, four years after it’s release on PS4. They also plan to release Spider-Man (2018) to PC on August 12, 2022. Following the four-ish year gap between the original release and the PC release, we wouldn’t see God of War Ragnarök on PC until at least 2026. Since the release of God of War (2018) to PC, the fan base has grown astronomically. If Sony wants to have the best sales turnout, then it’s only logical to release it to PC as well as the PS4 and PS5. Us PC players should be able to enjoy and continue the story that we have grown to love rather than deal with the barriers of console exclusives. Sony needs to port God of War Ragnarök to PC.
