A letter (dated 01.13.17) was distributed to parishioners at St. Margaret’s of Scotland Church. The letter stated that St. Thaddeus Parish was closed and merged into St. Margaret of Scotland’s Parish. The letter stated that copies of the Decrees of Promulgation were provided to the Pastors Whittington and Sasso with the Cardinal Blasé Cupich’s signature on January 6, 2017. St. Thaddeus Parishioners have not seen the Decrees of Promulgation. This is against Canon Law.
