St. Jude Thaddeus Parish is having a “Homecoming” Mass and Reception, Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 10:30 am. St. Jude Thaddeus Church has been a strong member of our community for 57 years. We are the second parish in Chicago that was founded by African-American Catholics. The Archdiocese of Chicago plans on closing our doors. We are not all in agreement. We must take this time to honor our members and neighborhood community. We are calling our parishioners-- current and past; St. Thaddeus Elementary School Alumni; and community neighbors to “Come Home!” Please join us in pray at this Special Service and Reception. This Mass is to honor St. Jude Thaddeus, the Patron Saint of Hope and Impossible Causes and our parish. St. Jude Thaddeus Church “Homecoming” Sunday, October 30, 2016 9550 South Harvard Avenue 10:30 AM Prayer, Praise Dancing, Choir, Fellowship A Historical Group Photograph will be taken. “Calling you home!”
