We were thrilled that our Government cared enough about our petition and cleaned the garbage dump on Muttukadu backwaters at Padur. However, the initiative lasted only 3 weeks. Fresh garbage is being dumped over the cleaned place. What kept the place clean for 3 weeks and who gave permission for garbage dumping to start again? Somebody is making money out of this free public property (muttukadu lake), dumping garbage here for free, and the government and law is not able to stop them. People living in this area and those affected by this illegal garbage dumping - please share this petition to bring awareness and raise more signatures.
