The safe social guidelines of single households can be followed while participating in the age old tradition of fishing.

Signing this petition helps to show that mental health benefits are needed more than ever with spring arriving. Our fishing communities surrounding Lake Ontario have been anticipating getting on the water all winter and these closures will be detrimental to the community's mental health.

This 2nd year of closures would present an incredible strain to the attached tackle stores and marine industry as the majority of Lake Ontario's opportunity to participate is seasonal. The Spring Fishing economy is an instrumental part of these tackle stores' survival. Without anyone participating in boating and angling, these tackle stores, marinas and services cannot survive.
