Police Urged to Investigate Possible Foul Play in Tragic Death of Ashley Marie Carter

The Issue

It is essential that the San Bernardino, California Police Department, located 710 North D. Street in San Bernardino to recognize that my daughter, Ashley Marie Carter’s death was not an accidental overdose, but a deliberate act of murder. The fact that she was poisoned with fentanyl highlights the need for a thorough investigation to bring her killer to justice. We cannot allow the stigma surrounding drug-related deaths to overshadow the fact that a young woman was taken from her family and friends in a heinous act of violence.

As the opioid crisis continues to claim lives, it is crucial for law enforcement to recognize the importance of investigating these deaths, which are often the result of a complex web of criminal activities. By treating these cases with the seriousness they deserve, we cannot only bring closure to the families affected, but also help to dismantle the networks that profit from the illegal distribution of these dangerous substances.

We implore the police to take a stand against this injustice and dedicate the necessary resources to investigate Ashley's murder. By doing so, we can send a powerful message that no life is disposable, and that every victim of this epidemic deserves justice.

Below is a brief back story

On Thursday, February 15, 2024, my daughter Ashley Carter was murdered. Considering we are getting no assistance in classifying her death as a homicide and no investigation is being done of anyone who may have caused her suspicious death, we are sharing the evidence in order that anyone willing can help us bring attention to this case.

Please note, we are trying to put everything together and I am not saying with certainty who may have had something to do with Ashley's death. However, the police have indicated that her death was suicide. But due to the inconsistencies and other facts, we honestly don't believe it was. Her Dad and I feel that those inconsistencies and other facts existing, have a definite bearing on what happened. We believe our daughter's death should be investigated further, and we're wondering if race and locale were factors in the choice they made.

According to preliminary investigations, Ashley Marie was found unresponsive in her home. The San Bernardino County Coroner's Office determined the cause of death to be acute toxicity of fentanyl, which the family finds implausible, considering she had been clean for years. In a tragic irony, Willie Mosley, Ashley's husband, was reportedly an addict and participating in an outpatient treatment clinic for fentanyl addiction in San Bernardino at the time of her death. After enduring years of physical and mental abuse, Ashley finally decided to leave Willie and start anew on the day she was killed. He threatened her life on numerous occasions and in the exact manner she died, with fentanyl. Mr. Mosley also warned Ashley’s father, Solomon Carter during a recent visit stating, "I will gut you like a fish." Mosley was loud, erratic, and confrontational to anyone he came in contact with after his daily methadone treatments.

We have reached out to both Sergeant Plummer of the San Bernardino Police Department and the District Attorney to share crucial information and inconsistencies surrounding the death. However, as of today, they have not received any communication from the San Bernardino police department regarding the information they have provided.

"We request that the police interview Willie Mosley to clarify his whereabouts during the time of the murder and the varying accounts he has given. The ring footage we have does not align with the information we were provided," remarks Carla Frueh.

The inquiry has uncovered allegations that members of Mr. Mosley's family were involved in the cleanup of the crime scene to shield him. It is also important to note that Ashley's son, who has been under the care of the Mosley family since his mother's death, might possess firsthand knowledge of the events surrounding her death on February 15, 2024. This situation could potentially expose him to danger. Multiple family members have pointed this out to Child Protective Services, to no avail.

"We can only hope that the San Bernardino Police Department is collaborating closely with the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office to ensure a comprehensive and exhaustive investigation is carried out," she added.

EOTM Media Group will host a press conference outside the San Bernardino Police Department, located at 710 North D Street, San Bernardino, California, to elaborate on the senseless murder and provide valuable insights and information regarding the handling of this case. The press conference is scheduled for March 21, 2024, at 1:30 PM. All media is invited to attend.

Please RSVP by March 20th at 5 PM to confirm your attendance by emailing press@e-newshub.online or calling 702-781-4498.
