Many of us grew up watching the Pokémon series or collecting gym badges on our Nintendo handhelds, split screening on the consoles, and hunting down the holographic Charizard in the Trading Card Game. When Pokémon Go came out I was excited that I could go out there and catch Pokémon around my town and parks.

My best friend is more of a Pokemon'er than I and he also loves playing Pokémon Go. It's harder as he has a disability that affects his mobility. He and other Pokémon Go players can play the game, but it is harder. I'm starting this for him and other Pokémon trainers so they can better continue their journey to be a Pokémon Master

This petition is to ask Niantic to add accommodations for players who have mobility disabilities or other medical conditions.

One proposed solution is to have a verification form to prove disability where a note from the doctor or primary care provider stating as such.
These accommodations would be only for accounts with verified disabilities to prevent abuse from the accommodations.

Suggested accommodations are:
- Keeping the remote raid pass so they can get invited raids.
- Providing an alternative to walking to hatch eggs/reducing distance required to hatch. (Research Tasks Hatching eggs for them)
- Increased character radius so they can get a wider amount of Pokémon over a single area and potentially getting that Pokéstop that is just out of reach from their home.
- Daily or bi-daily "care packages" to resupply their spent items.
- Altering their spawn rates/frequency so they don't get the repeats of the same Pokémon in their part of town.
