Save Spring Brook Farms!

Save Spring Brook Farms!
The Issue
Spring Brook Farms is a local, non-profit organization located in Pocopson Township, West Chester, Pennsylvania.
This farm was designed specifically to provide opportunities for children with disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, to participate in animal-assisted activities.
Their family centered approach allows parents and children to identify specific goals to achieve through interaction with our miniature horses, donkeys, goats, and rabbits, sheep, and cows. What makes this organization so special is that they provide a safe and nurturing environment where kids can have fun and be free from discrimination, while supporting therapies they may be receiving.
However, the farm is being shut down because of neighbor complaints and a lack of funding to uphold the contraints that Pocospon Township is laying upon them. Spring Brook Farms is a one-of-a-kind place, and it would be a disservice to the community if the lives of the disabled aren't enriched, because no other organization does what Spring Brook Farms does.
If enough people out there sign this petition, Spring Brook Farms will be able to remain in operation for 12 more months, allowing for more time to find a alternate locations to continue the operation of their organization and to raise more money for their program. If you want these kids to be able to go the this camp, please sign and share the petition with anyone and everyone!
