Brute force used by WB government on Protestors who were demanding justice for the doctor  who was raped and murdered in the hospital where she was on duty. 

Water cannons, tear gas and Lathi charge.... All was used to drown the voice which said "We want Justice"

The angst of the common public is understood. If a lady doctor on duty can be raped and murdered in the Hospital, who else is safe?

But unleashing the might of government on peaceful protestors, many of which were women, is totally unacceptable. At a time when the government is expected to empathise with the feelings of the public, the exact opposite is being seen. 

Safety of doctors and women in society must be ensured in a civilised society.
