A Kolkata Police official (Tirthankar De, Patuli Thana Incharge) has shared a post on social media, mocking the doctors’ protests over the RG Kar rape and murder case

He writes in Bengali , “Tora din raat jai jagis na keno, 0 chili, 0 thakbi (Even if you protest day and night, you were a zero and will remain zero forever)."

His attitude shows the indifference and insensitivity of the administration and the police towards the common man of this country. The arrogance of the powerful is palpable in every action. 

Common man of India may be zero but it is time to show the power of Zero to those who think they can oppress the weak common man of India.

Common man will not tolerate his daughter or sister raped and killed any more.

Common man will not tolerate a doctor assaulted anymore.
