It's 23rd Aug 2023.  India celebrates Scientists for making India proud by landing the Chandrayaan 3 on moon. 

It's 26th Aug 2026. India assaults another doctor, vandalises another hospital. That too in the national capital of Delhi.

Terminally ill patient brought to the emergency... Expires. Attenders first started verbal abuse with on duty Resident Doctors. Doctors and security staff attacked by scissors and dressing tray and equipment. 

FIR still not lodged. Police, hospital and administration, all want to just settle the matter.  

In everyone's eyes, it's okay to abuse a doctor.  

Doctors in India are made to believe that verbal abuse every day is their daily food and they must have it. Just a slap here and there is absolutely normal after death of a patient. Just assaulting a doctor with scissors is so okay because the patients relatives, relatives relatives are in grief.

NO. It's not OK. 

Again, doctors all across India curse themselves for joining a thankless profession. Years spent in learning medicine could have been spent building something the people of India would admire.
