The stated mission of the, in large part federally funded-like the Royal Canadian Legion[RCL], Canadian Peacekeeping Veterans Association[CPVA] reads in part: "Our Mission is to be a strong and leading advocate for all Veterans,...". It's first stated objective: "To advocate on behalf of Veterans and their families." I reached out to the CPVA pleading for their help in writing via a detailed email on Oct 14, 2025. No help has been provided. The only response I've received to date was addressed to an individual named 'Greg', which appears to have been sent in error to my email address instead. I assume 'Greg' is the CPVA's 1st Vice President Brigadier-General[Ret] Gregory B. Mitchell? It reads: "Greg, This looks like it's been going on for over a year. My first impression is that we should just stay out of it, but I'll quietly ask the RCL and Ombud about the history behind it when in the room with them on Saturday. Donald MacPherson National President Canadian Peacekeeping Veterans Association www.cpva.ca" I demand to know exactly how many times, and too what extent, my highly confidential and legally protected personal information has been the subject of unauthorized access and/or private discussions between the politically appointed "Ombud", her alleged old friends, and her alleged business partners in the increasingly lucrative state sponsored 'Veteran Service/Advocacy/Charity' tax dollar redistribution space? After I filed written grievances with the office of OVO, I faced non-stop reprisals. OVO Colonel[Ret.] Nishika Jardine has refused to lift a finger to help me! Why? To protect me from well documented and ongoing government reprisals[i.e. the illegal termination of my long held VAC Disability Pension]- alleged revenge for my filing a written complaint with the OVO, to conduct proper followup investigations into the unlawful government actions directed towards myself to ensure public confidence in the  independence and legitimacy of her office, to make recommendations for a speedy resolution in accordance with the legal requirement, to issue a report to parliament demanding accountability and justice, to recommend criminal charges to Crown, or to hold a press conference to support me and plead my case publicly so that no Veteran is ever forced to face a similar state sanctioned 'trial by fire' in future. Former senior commissioned and non-commissioned officers from the CF, career bureaucrats, elected representatives, all those who are actively working behind the scenes to further their own agendas, focused exclusively on personal gain. All at the expense of those who they officially claim, and are handsomely compensated, to be in the service of. Sick and/or injured in the line of duty Canadian Forces Veterans. I encourage all of those involved to tender their resignations without delay! Sadly, I fear that this is just the tip of the iceberg. I will be pursuing this matter. Demanding an independent public inquiry and a criminal investigation from a legitimate law enforcement agency. That's with or without the assistance of my perpetually unavailable and uninterested elected 'representatives' in Abbotsford BC. As always, thank you very much for your support of my petition!
