After decades of living with chronic pain due to well documented physical injuries sustained while on duty in the Canadian Forces; I was recently admitted to the Hospital Emergency suffering from severe pain. I lost most of the feeling in both my leg, and arm. After an emergency CT scan and an MRI, I was informed that I would need corrective spinal surgery. VAC still refusing to provide access to basic services, treatment, and benefits for proven service related injuries. In direct violation of the legislative requirements.
