ELON MUSK'S PROFITS ARE NOT WORTH OUR SAFETY

We are concerned citizens who know that if Elon Musk is allowed to mess with our air traffic control systems, it will be a real danger to all Americans who travel by air, all airline staff, and the public at large.  We pledge that if Musk and his cronies are allowed to tamper with the air traffic control systems or have any influence over the FAA, we will not fly on any airline in the US unless there is absolutely no other choice.  We recognize that air travel within the US will simply be unsafe once this foreign billionaire is allowed to enact his agenda against the FAA, and organization that exists solely to maintain the safety of air travel in the US for the protection of all Americans.

We know that Musk's determination to undermine the FAA stems from September, 2024 when the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposed a fine of over $630,000 Space Exploration Technologies Corp (SpaceX) for their failure to follow license requirements during two launches in 2023, license requirements which are set for safety purposes.

He has no intention of improving safety OR saving the taxpayers money.  His goal is to break the system to enact his and Trump's personal vendettas and, in the end, profit from it, and he will do this with no regard for the lives that will be lost.  Trump and Musk intend to completely dismantle our government and its departments and agencies - the FAA is already understaffed, underfunded and using outdated equipment, and any further staffing or funding losses will further jeopardize the safety of all Americans.  We also know that one of Trump's goals is to replace all federal employees with Trump loyalists who have no qualifications for their jobs and will be hired only on the basis of their willingness to do whatever Trump wants without question or integrity.

We also understand that no one in a position of power to do anything to stop him will care unless their pocketbooks are affected, and that includes the airline industry.  Therefore we sign this petition as a pledge that if Elon Musk is not stopped from getting his hands on the FAA or the US air traffic control system in any way, we will BOYCOTT all US airlines from that point forward.
