The Issue

In recent months, our community has witnessed a deeply worrying rise in robberies, theft, anti-social behaviour, and violence. At a time when residents are already grappling with the pressures of the cost-of-living crisis, many now feel they are also having to shoulder the burden of rising crime and the steady disappearance of visible policing from our streets.

The closure of the front desk at Uxbridge Police Station and the reduced police presence have left many residents feeling exposed and unheard. People are increasingly anxious about their safety whether they are stepping out of their front door, walking to the shops, or simply spending time on the High Street.

This is not the kind of community we want for our families, our neighbours, or our local businesses. A town like Uxbridge including Colham & Cowley, Yiewsley and West Draytondeserves strong neighbourhood policing, reassurance on our streets, and a police station that is open and accessible to the public it serves.

This petition is a heartfelt and urgent plea from the community to reopen the front desk at Uxbridge Police Station and restore the visible policing our town so clearly needs.

Our message is simple our community deserves to feel safe again.
