Vehicles driving on Turner St at 40mph, only 5 feet from the sidewalk, are a hazard to the community. Drivers are unable to stop in time to avoid hitting someone in the road in the event a child or animal crosses in front of them unexpectedly. Reducing the speed limit from 35mph to 25mph South of the Turner St Bridge will enhance public safety and protect our communities children and pedestrians.
