Fellow supporters of Active Recreation and the Basketball / Pickleball Project at the Pool.
We hope everyone had a great summer. I can’t believe it has been one year since we first sat down to talk about the basketball / pickle / paddle project in the community of Madison

The petition to support the project which included 1,185 signatures was submitted to Council on July 10 and acknowledged at the July 12 Council meeting.
Misinformation regarding the project spread on social media which led Council to table the Ordinance and stressed a need to amend the lease agreement with the Madison Pool.
Members from the supporting group met with the Mayor on August 2nd.
During the meeting the Mayor stated “…they he will continue to look for a solution and is committed to keeping the project concept alive...”
While we are in “re-set” status, the group supporting the project, the Madison Basketball Association and the Recreation Advisory Committee are still committed to adding additional active and positive recreation in Madison.
We hope you will continue to support the project.
