Update

·      Prior to our organizational group meeting on Saturday April 17, the authors of the petition had a meeting with the Borough’s Chief Financial Officer and Asst. Administrator.

·      We are currently awaiting a response from the Borough CFO about the items we discussed at the meeting last Friday. We are hopeful that he will confirm the Borough's commitment to the project and the items that the Borough will begin work on at the Madison Community Pool site.

·      We are also awaiting the confirmation that we can use the land the Pool currently leases from the Borough to build the paddle courts

·      We encourage all supporters that when you engage a local official to thank them for their continued support of our project and how much that would mean to you to have it completed in a timely manner:

·      We want everyone to keep a positive outlook and stay focused on the finish line with this great project at the Madison Community Pool

·      Given the positive movements with the Borough and the momentum behind the petition, we are going to extend the petition submission to the Borough until May 7, 2021 prior to the Council meeting on May 10

·      Please make a push for new petition signatures to get us to 1,000
