Please help us save the Job corps program and get this petition on the desk of the 3 congress men as well as get this petition on President Donald Trump’s desk as he is the one that signed an executive order to eliminate the funding from the department of labor which job corps rely on. Please keep in mind some students they don’t have a place to return to and could end up having to live on the streets due to the fact they weren’t able to complete the program they were assigned to and was able to find housing in time.

Anyways I am writing to you today as a Job Corps student at the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy who has had the opportunity to change my life through this program. Job Corps has not only given me the skills I need for a successful career, but it has also given me a sense of purpose and direction. 
Right now I am on my 3rd week here at Earle C Clement’s Job Corps about to graduate the career preparation center and hopefully get to move  on and start my welding career. I heard Job Corps could close. I’m very worried about that because Job Corps is so important to me. I also heard there are a lot of students waiting to get into the program but they can’t. Please open Job Corps back up and make sure it doesn’t close.

Job Corps is more than just a training program—it's a lifeline for so many of us.
