There is no state provision for specialist Classical Ballet or Musical Theatre training in Wales, England or Ireland. Currently training for Ballet and Performing Arts is only accessible to those on very low incomes or very high incomes making training impossible to most families in the UK. If accessing training was available via student loans and maintenance loans tuition would be more accessable to all potential students.

Letter to
Minister of State for Education David Laws MP
Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and Shadow Deputy Prime Minister Harriet Harman
Reconsider the changes to Dada funding and make the sliding scales fairer or in line with current University student loans and maintenance loans to improve accessibility to these courses for all potential students.
