 Three young women in the UK reported serious physical and sexual abuse at the hands of notorious influencer, Andrew Tate to Hertfordshire Police in 2014 and 2015.

What transpired was beyond negligent practice from these authorities. These complaints were not passed to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for years and when they eventually were in 2019, they made the decision to take no further action. This is despite the police believing that the evidential test for prosecution had been met and being in possession of a dossier of supporting evidence including text messages from Tate to one of the alleged victims in which he wrote “I love raping you”.

But by this point, having evaded prosecution and being free to travel, Tate had already relocated to Romania, where he is alleged to have gone on to commit more rapes and engage in human-trafficking.

The UK authorities still refuse to re-open their criminal investigation, despite being urged to do so by the Home Office.  

It is up to us to show these brave women that they, and all victims of abuse, have our support. This case MUST be re-opened, and together we can make this happen.
