Bathurst Regional Council's Small Animal Pound is currently at capacity and unable to accommodate any further animals until further notice.

This means there are currently no holding facilities in Bathurst for lost/wandering animals. 

Currently the pound is only open between 12-2pm weekdays, with just 4 appointment times available to view animals for adoption, by appointment only. 

The last facebook post promoting animals for rehoming is over 2weeks old.

Please help us petition to improve this situation. To have emergency facilities provided in the interim, until the new facility is complete. And improve rehoming promotion and success ASAP.
