Every year with a 6 in it is supposed to have a new Pokemon game, done for the sake of celebrating the series' anniversary every 10 years. Plus we were promised no game would ever take the same amount of time to work on as the very first Pokemon games, of which started their development in 1990 before finally releasing in early 1996. So with this being said, Pokemon Winds & Waves which are to be the start of the 10th generation for the series should release this year and not next year, plus it was aid in the leaks that said the Gen X games would be named Winds & Waves that they'd release this year, along with that Gen XI would start in 2030. This year is supposed to be the 30th Anniversary of Pokemon, and once again every year with a 6 in it is supposed to be when a new generation of Pokemon starts each time, very much like how Gen VII started in 2016 to point where there were no other games in Kalos with Gen VI, and Gen IV started in 2006.
