It's official!! As of this morning, both The Tragically Hip and CBC have announced that the live broadcasting of their final show on August 20th, 2016 in Kingston, ON will be taking place. :) Although CBC has not given public credit to what motivated this decision, I am very confident that the 31000+ signatures on this petition, has significant merit. Without all of your support, this may not have happened at all. Thank you all so very much. I have started a fundraising campaign on the Sunnybrook foundation website; as CBC has made this viewing free to everyone, I felt this was not only a way of saying thank you but to further The Tragically Hip's fundraising intentions as well.
