One of my classmates and school friends, Bianca Mohr, had an older brother named Jackson who died on April 22, 2021, and I wanted to honor him by making a holiday - Jackson Mohr Day - happen on April 22 so everyone can remember Jackson Mohr.

He was a 7th grader at Texas Military Institute Episcopal, and was in Cub Scouts with me when he was a student at Aue Elementary School. A few days before he died, he was named Cadet of the Year. All of a sudden, he was unconscious when his parents tried waking him up for school. 

Once he passed away just 3 days later, he became an organ donor, and he was capable of saving 8 lives. On Jackson Mohr Day, kids at school (or anyone, for that matter) can make a list of 22 things (22 was Jackson's baseball jersey number) they can do to help people around them make the world a more (or Mohr) better place.
