H.Q. - A. N. Jha Road, George Town, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh).
Hon. Madam,
This is with reference to Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in Lok Sabha on 26th June, 2024,
over his "Jai Palestine" remark he made while taking oath as parliamentarian.
As per Article 102 (D) of the Constitution of India, a member of either house is liable to disqualification in case the MP shows "allegiance or adherence to a foreign state".
It is strange that Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi after taking oath immediately raised slogan to show that he is in adherence and allegiance to that state. It is a very serious matter and a threat to national security,
The slogan raised by Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi is a threat to the security, sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
It is an extremely serious and critical issue which requires immediate attention and proper action in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 102 r/w Article 103 of the Constitution of India.
So, I urge the President of India to call the opinion of Election Commission of India as provided under Article 103 of the Constitution regarding disqualification "incurred" by Asaduddin Owaisi.
Further we want to draw your kind attention as followings :
1. Mr. Owaisi's statement is a breach of parliamentary decorum and privilege.
2. His actions demonstrate disloyalty to the Indian nation and its institutions.
3. As an elected representative, he has a sworn duty to serve India's interests, not promote foreign agendas.
4. His statement harms India's diplomatic relationships with other countries, particularly Israel.
5. It's a divisive tactic aimed at appeasing his vote bank and fueling sectarian tensions.
6. Mr. Owaisi's behavior sets a dangerous precedent for other elected representatives.
7. His actions undermine the authority and dignity of the Indian Parliament.
8. He has failed to uphold his constitutional oath as a member of parliament.
9. His statement is a slap in the face to India's democratic institutions.
10. It's a clear expression of his loyalty to a foreign entity over his own country.
11. Mr. Owaisi's actions are a disservice to the nation and its people.
12. He has compromised the sovereignty of the Indian Parliament.
13. His behavior is unbecoming of a member of parliament.
14. Mr. Owaisi's statement has the potential to create communal unrest.
15. It's a violation of parliamentary rules and conduct.
16. His actions demonstrate a lack of respect for the Indian Constitution.
17. Mr. Owaisi's statement is a form of hate speech.
18. He has failed to represent the interests of his constituents.
19. His behavior is unrepresentative of India's values of inclusivity and diversity.
20. Mr. Owaisi must apologize and commit to upholding the dignity of the Indian Parliament.
So, once again I request your honour to look into the allegations against Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi and do needful to cancell his membership of the Parliament.
With thanks and regards,
Member - Rashtriy Hindu Sangathan.
