Platinum Drivers should be able to set minimum acceptance rate.

Platinum Drivers should be able to set minimum acceptance rate.
The Issue
As dedicated DoorDash Drivers, we are deeply frustrated with the current system that requires us to accept orders of any price to maintain our acceptance rate, even when they are as low as $1. This is not only disheartening but also financially unsustainable. Platinum drivers, who have worked hard to achieve this status, deserve the opportunity to receive and accept only high-value offers that reflect our commitment and service excellence.
Currently, DoorDash's policy forces drivers to choose between maintaining a high acceptance rate and accepting low-paying orders. This situation is unfair and counterproductive to the drivers who consistently go above and beyond. Drivers who are committed to delivering the best customer experiences deserve a platform that acknowledges and rewards our efforts with corresponding order options.
To address this, we are advocating for a significant policy change. We propose that DoorDash introduce a feature allowing Platinum drivers to filter orders by minimum price without any negative impact on their acceptance rates. For instance, Platinum Drivers could set it to only be given orders that are $5 or more. This adjustment would empower drivers to focus on high-value tasks, aligning with the premium service we strive to provide.
Not only will this change benefit drivers financially, but it will also enhance overall job satisfaction. Satisfied drivers are more likely to deliver exceptional service, enhancing the reputation of DoorDash as a platform committed to valuing its workforce.
We urge DoorDash to recognize the efforts and dedication of Platinum drivers by revising their order acceptance policy. By implementing a fair and motivating system, we can all work towards a more sustainable and rewarding environment.
Please join me in signing this petition to make a meaningful change for all Platinum drivers. Your support can help us achieve a fairer and more rewarding system that benefits everyone involved.
