The Issue

Comments are now due by 5pm Friday, October 2, 2026.

People displaced by the Spokane Complex fires deserve more time to participate. The fires also raised serious new questions about evacuation routes, road capacity, and where Spokane should add growth.

These issues should be considered before Spokane locks in its 20-year plan.

Please don't wait. Send your comments now. The City should extend the October 2 comment deadline.

See why roads and safety matter to the growth plan.
