After receiving pressure from Trans-exclusionary women’s rights movements such as For Women Scotland, the Scottish government folded into removing Transgender women from female prisons and instead placing them into male prisons. 

The Scottish government have knowingly placed their own citizens into a vulnerable situation where they know they are at extreme risk of being mistreated, assaulted, murdered or even raped.

We must make sure our transgender brothers and sisters are kept safe and in the places they are always meant to be in. The world is actively against them right now. We must stand together and protect them.
