The Issue

Their are meny inside out fans who are saddened that the scrapped emotion shame didn't appear in inside out 2, inside out fans believe that this emotion would've been really cool and interesting  to see, and we also think that this emotion could be brought back for inside out 3! ( if that's a decision that'll ever be made by pixar ).

Inside out 2's director has said that the emotion "shame" was scrapped because she would've been "too heavy for audiences", meny inside out and disney fans find this really ironic considering that most pixar and disney films ( such as toy story, the lion king, up etc ) all have heavy topics that left meny viewers upset, we don't know what pixar had planned for the characterization or writing of shame, but pixar could just change her writing and characterization so that it isn't too heavy for the audiences.

Maybe the story line of inside out 3 ( if it's something that'll ever be made by pixar ) could be riley having shame of something, maybe not getting her crushes attention or embarrassing herself in front of someone important That she’s wanting to feel love for, this leads  shame ( and maybe even more emotions like pride ) to come out of nostalgia's living space to argue with anxiety for not letting them come out sooner, eventually leading them to taking over headquarters ( kinda like what anxiety did in inside out 2 ) but in the end, the positive emotions  come stronger then shame, and riley learns to love herself. therefore, defeating or negotiating with shame.

And the moral of the film is that shame helps you improve yourself and learn from your mistakes, but just like every emotion, too much of shame is bad, but it's still important. All our emotions are important, it's why we have them, Shame is just as needed as the others, kinda like how by the end of the first movie, we learn we need Sadness to help us deal with tough situations and the end of the second movie teaches us that we need Anxiety to worry about things for us, but we need to keep it under control. I feel as if this whole "moral thing" could work for Shame too, there is so much potential with shane, she would make an interesting character for an inside out 3.

P.S: if anyone knows someone from Disney or Pixar than please show them this!
