We have 500 signatures and many insightful comments, thanks! If you signed before I added the links to: (1.) the beautiful and relevant video about Pitney or, (2.) the link to donate to the Friends of Pitney, crucial to help fund historic value assessments and support grant matching fund requirements, etc., ...please revisit the petition and use the links. I do not have a firm date yet but I expect to be closing this petition soon and presenting it to the Mendham Township governing body, so tell any friends or neighbors that you might think are interested, more = better! And thanks again! I see signs that the town leadership is more aware of the sentiment of our residents and that other ways do exist to help them manage their responsibilities without losing the key historic features of Pitney Farm, and I think people who favor not losing those features are better understanding the governing body's needs and objectives, so I am hopeful that mutually satisfactory solutions can be found, and I think that this petition will have helped that happen! The town can not react to a mandate if no one voices it to them, your voice absolutely has counted!
