Friends of Pitney Farm has made substantial inroads to getting the town's attention and saving the historic site, literally from the bulldozer. At this current phase, we have a viable plan but now have only a few weeks of time given us for some required actions to replace the town's plans for development with our plan for preservation. The town, as current owner, has continued to prohibit us from getting grants until after we acquire control, but there are substantial costs to committing to our plan, including legal counsel, acquisition initial costs, etc. If you wish to support this immediate and critical effort to ensure saving the historic site, please consider donating by mailing a check, without delay, payable to "Friends of PItney Farm", to: Friends of Pitney Farm, P.O.
