Armando Perez (a/k/a "Pitbull"): Clean Up Your Pinecrest Village Property! (Miami)
The Issue
Armando Perez (a/k/a "Pitbull") owns an abandoned/orphaned property at 7474 SW 102 Street in the Pinecrest suburb of Miami through one of his holding companies, ENPI(n)GAO LLC, which is controlled by his manager, Mike Calderon. The front gate is wide open, fences are collapsing (rock wall is lying on its side), the home is disintegrating (you can smell mildew in the air) and the grounds aren't being maintained (none of the hundreds of fallen palm fronds have been cleaned up since Hurricane Irma in October 2017). He has purportedly been getting fined $100 a day since March 2018 for not complying with the Village of Pinecrest Code of Ordinances but the Village should be reaching out more aggressively to Mr. Perez (somebody moved the violation notices from the front gate fence to a less visible location). "Mr. 305" is NOT a good neighbor (he is taking advantage of the lax Village Code; this would never happen in Coral Gables). Tell Pitbull to clean up his act! The petition letter below goes to the Pinecrest Village Council (council@pinecrest-fl.gov) since Mr. Perez has no public email address listed on his website.
Remember, Pinecrest Village Council Seat #4 (At-Large) is up for grabs this November (2018). Let's vote in the candidate who cares the most about quality of life issues and property values. We don't need any more Council members who think forwarding your email to the Village Manager is the answer. That's just a brush off.
