Recently the Prosper ISD School Board reverted to their policy of no longer live broadcasting the Monthly Board meetings due to the ISD now allowing full occupancy in their meeting room.

Over the last year, our businesses, our kids’ schools, family meetings, the Prosper Town Council, and Prosper Planning and Zoning Commission have adapted to a virtual world.  During this time we have learned that the virtual meetings allow for more transparency and citizen participation.  Ultimately, the more participation of voters in town government and the ISD will only lead to a stonger and better Prosper.   

We are asking the Prosper ISD Board and Administration to reconsider and add live broadcasting AND virtual public participation.  Our town should not allow the education of our kids be dictated by folks who are only able to attend in person. That’s just not the reality of our world today.

We believe transparency and participation improve governance, accountability of our elected Board members and foster more ideas to solve the challenges we face due to our growth.
