I  spoke to an older man fishing on the lake, he said many years ago this area was used for excavation & for pulling fill dirt from. They had many dirt piles & the area was dug out pretty deep. They apparently had dug down so deep that they hit into limestone where a spring started pouring out water, by the next morning the entire area with all the holes that had been dug out filled with water.  Over the years, the spring has eroded into a larger spring head keeping the lake full with crystal clear water.  It has been rumored that the opening may be wide enough & connect into the clear Lake Walsingham which incidentally is next door and also spring fed.

Underwater video to come soon, please sign, keep sharing & spreading the word.  Thanks!
