We've reached a pivotal landmark this week. In a short amount of time -- a little over a week ago -- we launched a campaign to push for our city to invest in activated public green space. Now we are over 100 strong! What does this mean? It means that we're not just a handful of like-minded people. We're a force to be reckoned with. This means that if a mere 10% of us showed up to a council meeting, our collective message would be heard. It means that if we were able to spread our message to 5 people, that would be 500 new voices added to our cause! We have the ability for exponential growth. Here's what we can do: 1) Show up en masse to the April 23rd Pier Selection Committee Meeting. Mark your calenders now! We need to take our will to stand up and put our name on this petition and bring our voices to the front of the room. If we can leverage our numbers to actually show up and speak, we will have shown not only the committee, but council, the mayor, and our city what we stand for. 2) We can keep spreading the word. We must! Let's use our numbers to engage exponentiation growth. If each of us can bring 5 people into supporting our cause, that's 500 more engaged voices -- at that point, if they convince 2 people, that's 1000 supporters! #TrueGrassrootsGrowth! We're at a precipice of change. We can rocket this thing into the public forum in a big way. Please share this initiative. Support investment in public green space.
